Camille

1.      What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
It's hard to say. Within SJA, I probably do a lot of things differently, specifically things like how I choose to spend my time and how I express myself. But as for humans in general, who's to say, you know? In the grand scheme of things, I'm probably not all that unique
2.      Do aliens exist?
Gosh, I hope so. It’s more terrifying to me to think of the human race as the universe's only inhabitants than it is to imagine other life forms out there as well.
3.      What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
Truthfully, I don't really fear the things that another person might when it comes to doing what feels right. My friends can attest for me when I say that I'm pretty shamelessly myself. Life is short. Make short films. Cut off all your hair. Wear long dresses. Who cares.
4.      What are you most afraid of? Do you know where that fear stems from?
Maybe caterpillars? It used to be needles but my mom made me participate in a phobia study to overcome it, and I did. Haha, it was really bad.
5.      What do YOU want to make of your life?
The million dollar question. Well the dream is to do something with photography in Afghanistan or southeast Asia. I don’t know, I feel this pressing need to capture unrest and corruption and specifically oppression around the globe almost like it’s not even an option. I’ll freelance it if I have to. Can you imagine documenting a day in the life of a member of the Taliban?
